KIA SELTOS 2022

The Kia Seltos has received a significant upgrade to its safety features in response to the entrance of two new competitors in the compact SUV market: the Toyota HyRyder and the Maruti Grand Vitara. In its current configuration, the Seltos comes equipped with a basic complement of four airbags. There is an option for six airbags in some configurations of the vehicle. The Carens was the first Kia vehicle to come equipped with a standard complement of six airbags, and now the Seltos is the second Kia vehicle on the market to do the same. This is an industry-first segmentation feature. In comparison to the HyRyder and the Grand Vitara, both of which come equipped with dual airbags as standard, this will be a strong selling point for the Grand Vitara.
